...let us know if you can do a (mostly) complete tracklist for this mix.
were any of you at this party? this would have been a sick set to see |
on February 20 2006 15:20:43
i bet he drops 'sonar' |
on February 20 2006 15:21:36
just waiting to see... |

I was at this party. The vibe was incrediable. For one brief night Chicago's drum and bass scene was equal to what was going on up in Toronto. Its a damn shame nobody in Chicago was ever able to put together another party like this one.: |
on March 29 2006 12:41:53
^^^no way.. well.. big up ya chest for having a great night.. Toronto scene aint the same anymore... anti-wharehouse rave by-law, yadaydady.. makes it almost impossible to throw a jam at Exhibition place anymore. for every 100 people u need 1 paid officer. and they make $60+hr.
PS.. Come to Toronto on the 21st of MAY..big tings |

Fuck yea, those Psychosis parties were tight......along with almost all of the other DBN events.....
Sux that I don't remember many specific's about that or most of the other events I attended in those days.......paper on the tounge on a semi-daily basis pretty much turned them all into one big blur......good times though
93-96 went by waaaaay too fast....wish I could've slowed down time to n-joi the ride a bit more...... |
on March 30 2006 00:36:20
Did they record 3D's set at Phore????
Got caught up talking to people for what seemed like forever n never got to enjoy his set......sounded fuckin killer
Still bang the Justin Long tape from that night....one of the phattest house sets ever! |
on March 30 2006 00:47:43
didn't catch the original psychosis events (before my prime) but i did catch psychosis 4 at the dolton in 98. shame they shut down the jungle room on account of someone being naked.....that show had its own great sets though..
Hermit, u have a copy of that justin long? anything from that guy is great! last few new years, i've been catching his sets at smart bar! always a rockin time with justin! |
on March 30 2006 10:44:59
Yea, but it is the tape of a tape.......
I will be working on putting some of my old tapes on my computer over the next few months....i'll let ya know....
The tape i'd kill to hear 1 more time is Justin Long "20/20 Vision"! |
on March 30 2006 10:59:45
Gawd, it is crazy how music triggers memory.....listening to so many of the sets on here is like a virtual time machine, bringing back ton's of feelings n memories I had forgotten......
I now remember that night......I wanted to get up on stage n knock GQ the fuck out......was a torturous hour for me...
I freakn hate 99% of jungle mc's.... guarenteed to ruin a good set for me......Does anyone have a Trace set where there isn't someone shouting over his shit!?!?!....same goes for Andy C
Has anyone heard the Aphrodite "Live @ Boat Town" set that is on the net???? There is this MC Guapo (think that is what his name was) He was fucking nuts....i'd kill to have someone bring that guy up here!!!! |
on November 23 2006 22:42:09
hell yeah psychosis 3 was the shit. Ron and Trace tore the fucking place to shreds...and then hearing GQ go off on that spiral tribe spin off (can't remember their name) because they were starting beats before the drum and bass sets were up...classic. Morgan Market was a happin spot for some of the best Ripe parties. |
on January 31 2007 14:31:09
Can anyone tell me what the first tune on the set is? SICKNESS! |
on July 24 2007 22:06:50
Ya psychosis in 1998, I was there, and I was only 14 trs old. It was a nutty time for a young youth being introduced to a savage life style and sweet after hours parties on the "Rocks!" |
