I never got the chance to hear these until I found them on www.djdieselboy.com I listened to em all weekend in Chi during The Taste 04. It was when Planet of the Drums played @ Metro. Good memeories locked in this one. I got the wrong address for an afterhours and wound up sleeping @ the rocks that morning. I meet this random cat who had some very firey nugs and we sat for 6 hours diggin through all my cds and jammin on the beach drinkin Heineken's. He liked the smoother styles and once he heard that intro of the East Coast Science, He was hooked.

yourmomsnutz June 07 2012 yeah Baby, that is one of the main contributing factors in 90's flavor of music, people just had strait fun cuttin/mixin & sampling everything----->>>
spinscott June 05 2012 I can only imagine what the excitement level was in the Golden Era, when everyone was pushing the limits of those samples. So much great music was born then!
spinscott June 05 2012 Just picked up an MPC5000 and sampled the Amen break directly from the 45. Been using those drums for years, but wow what an experience anyway!
