Hell no. I didn't even see that Guy Called Gerald mix in there! I love a good jungle mix by him! And this Alex Reece set is too awesome. I like how they have the top 10 as by sales from 4 or 5 record shops in the UK. I wasn't surprised to hear what was #1. Prolly my favorite track of Alex Reece starts to blend @ 29:20. Not sure of the name It's on Al's Rec. Vol 1 of all his own shit. I love smooth horns.

That sucks. It's either the Ed Rush or Optical track on the Dom n Roland set that starts @ 20:10. It's a bad-ass track. Never heard it before until now . It's builds a lil then starts to roll. B-line drops. Sounds good for 1 second and the mc starts blabbin about some crap about big-ups n shout-outs. Damn. |

LOL! The mixing is so terrible on the 1st pt of 4 Hero! Great tunes inside though! That G-Force track is mean as hell. @ round 36:30. I love the B-line w/ the clangy cymbals. |

Hey, thanx! I had a 4 Hero album a few years back. I can't remember what it was called. It was tight though. Jazzy productions w/ a nice female vocalist. This was an unexpected twist. WHo are they exactly? |

I tried to write a little biog myself, but must of deleted & started again about 10 times...lol.
4 hero:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4_Hero
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:4_Hero
(dunno why this link aint clickable, but it's the 'discussion' tab on the page in the first link anyway)
today, they're mainly associated with the 'broken beat' genre in West London, 4 hero & many of the other reinforced d&b artists pioneered the genre.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broken_beat
Im feeling broken beat, it's kind of a shame though that such a big creative force has gone from our scene & moved on. |
