Tracks I've made? My computer has been sick recently (nasty trojans) so I've been fixing it. Nearly lost all my work! Will upload a track or two as soon as possible.
Those mixes will be done this week for you. Nice one!

The mixer (dented old Vestax 05pro) is plugged into the M-Audio soundcard in my PC, and I usually use FL Studio 6 and recently, SoundForge 8 to record in real time. I don't actually do anything to the mix after its recorded as a wav, no editing or EQing or anything like that. Its just a case of having the levels right to begin with, no clipping etc. And a bit of care on the mixer too.
Then I save a copy of the mix as an mp3, that last one was 192kb/s I think, just to get it smaller that the 600mb it is as a wav. And thats it
Its probably also because of using newly pressed vinyl. Needles are pretty new too. I really ought to put up some oldschool mixes, then we'll see the sound quality drop, lol
Hope you enjoy the mix

After I wrote that I realized that using currently pressed tunes is probably a big part of it! |
