Style: '94 hardcore-jungle
MC(s): none
Notes: 79 minutes; 320kbps; UK
"Normally I always post my mixes up first on DOA but I promised Hook ages ago that I'd try and get some mixes done just for you lot so this will be on here for a couple of weeks before I post it up anywhere else. This isn't what I originaly planned to put together (that was more strictly jungle) but as I was going through my record collection I came across more and more 94 stuff that I havent got in a decent mix so I decided to do this first. This is the sort of set you would have heard me play out back in 94. As you can see this is Volume 1 so I hope to get some more of these finished soon.
I could write something about all these tunes because I love them all (don't like typing though) but I will just mention the first and last tracks...
I started many a set with "Sonic Experience - Everybody Gets Crazy" it's an ideal track to kick off a set with. The added live "Rave" samples always seemed to get people going.
My MC always had great fun with the last track "Biobreaks - Fat Girls" depending on how many of them he could find in the crowd (not very nice thinking back on it now) didn't stop him pulling some of them though. A very underated track.
Anyway, hope you like"
