This mix serves as one of the two promomixes for Fanu US tour for 2008 (there's another US-promo mix, concentrating on slightly heavier stuff, here .)
All US promoters interested in booking Fanu around March/April 2008, check here and get in touch with me: [email protected] and my manager: [email protected].

With this mix, I wanted to display the drum and bass sound we - the children of the mid-nineties drum&bass who learned to love our intense breakbeats and deep atmospheres - proudly call subversive (and no, we're not trying to come up with another subgenre, no...it's just that not all of us like the word 'drumfunk', which, I think, has some unwanted connotations).
Many similar-minded dnb heads have already found their home corner on the 'net, Subvert Central, and everybody interested in this kind of dnb, I suggest you to check out that forum.

In this mix, I have included music by some of the finest and most talented subversive producers pushing the style consisting of fat breaks and beats as well as imaginative atmospheres.

As much as the subversive jungle may be in the marginal, I strongly believe in the subversive movement, and I'm happy to see this kind of dnb becoming more and more popular all around the world.

With the cool autumn in Finland already, nothing suits my hunger for music better than some deep dnb.
Cold chillin'!
So, here you go: 60 mins of Subversive goodness.

If you want to post this mix on your local forum, please do, and US heads, please use the whole post: I will push this jungle in USA next year as well, so I'm trying to hit as many locations as possible.
