In 2008 Chicagoans mourned the loss of Brian Blackeye, the city's first and primary hardcore-jungle MC. To initiate the preservation of his memory in 2009 and beyond, we present the final recording of the full C.H.A. lineup: JJ Jellybean, DJ Snuggles, and MC Blackeye. These previously unreleased tapes were submitted by Dubshack and are exclusive to GoldenEraJungle.com
I'm going to be playing at Urban Lounge (3216 S. Grand) on Sun., September 3rd.
I'll be starting out the night in Daylight Robber mode. Essentially, if no one's there, I'll probably just throw down some roots and dub reggae and chill. If some of y'all show up, I'll bring the old skool jungle flava for ya.
Later, Flex Boogie and my electro/house alter-ego, Phazorslut, are going to play some mid-tempo stuff. I'm planning on playing some electro/neo/italo disco for the most part.
We're going from 9pm - 1am.
Hope to meet some of you.
Peace,
Will
