In 2008 Chicagoans mourned the loss of Brian Blackeye, the city's first and primary hardcore-jungle MC. To initiate the preservation of his memory in 2009 and beyond, we present the final recording of the full C.H.A. lineup: JJ Jellybean, DJ Snuggles, and MC Blackeye. These previously unreleased tapes were submitted by Dubshack and are exclusive to GoldenEraJungle.com
Hook (GoldenEraJungle.com, Silent Partners) - Throw in his mix "Full Up" or "High Noon" and you will understand why hook is one of the best ragga jungle selectors in the midwest! His crates seem bottomless with a collection that would make any head soil his pantaloons. The mixing is always on point and he will always leave you wanting more.
Stunna - (Fokuz, Vibez, Phuzion0) - Promotes many shows around Chicago, and tours with bands and DJ's in cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Denver and NYC. He also has recently signed many tracks to NOOKIE's label STRICTLY-DIGITAL, PHUZION, FOKUZ, FOKUZ LTD, VIBEZ, PHUNKFICTION, BIOS, TOUCHIN DOWN, FORESTRY SERVICE, performed on THE FAREED HAQUE GROUP's lastest release for MAGNA CARTA RECORDS. Always makin' moves! Can't stop.... Won't stop.
Disko Kitty - Spinnin' out since 96, DK has a very versatile style which can include anything from House to Reggae to Jungle to whatever. She will be droppin' some old school / ragga jungle for us on this night. Currently she is working on tracks and plans to release under the name Silent T. Keep an eye out.
+ resident selectors: Zebo und Hess - We rule at life. If you don't believe us, check out our sweet mopeds.
