So what are they???

I hate picking faves when it comes to muzik, but what dj's from back in the day gave you shivers when in attendance.......

For my money the following have fond places in my heart n ears....

N recognize that for me I love the beautiful old-school Atmospheric n Reggae Jungle sound......so i'm not talking about these dj's spinning Jump-Up or Dnb in their later years........i'm talking 93' to 95' sets.......

Stateside:
Snuggles & Slak & 3D.....which ever combination tagged...it was alway's a treat
Dieselboy
Phantom 45
Casper

UK:
Hype
Trace
Randall
Kenny Ken

The page aint big enough to write all the legends names on here...lol

As for Fabio playing shit tunes now, I'll correct you. Him and Grooverider practically pioneered jungle alone at first, at the club Rage. He is on Radio One now. Why would he play shit tunes these days? He plays the some of the best tracks out now by far. Or do you prefer Pendulum tracks??
Fabio pioneered the liquid sound which is pretty much the only decent style of jungle/d&b left, and his night is Swerve at The End - the best d&b night on the planet in 2006. Bukem plays there. In fact they all do. Many of the oldschool adult junglists that dont like the big commercial raves go to Swerve. The heavyweights play the stuff they like, rather than the big dancefloor tunes they play at other raves to make money. Plenty of dubplates never heard anywhere else. Pure musical niceness.
That makes Fabio legendary in my book.
He plays some of the best stuff available these days, but he still doesnt mix too good.....

How are you correcting me?, I wasnt debating his ledgendary status hence why him and grooverider were on my list & I know about his history & radio show.

I personally dont like the liquid sound (each to there ownsmiley) & I am also not debating ther fact he pioneered liquid sound.

"Or do you prefer Pendulum tracks??"

Not really, I lost interest in NEW D&B around 2001 & stopped buying new d&b vynal & tape packs, all new d&b mc's are wank, blurting out lyrics over everything, vocals included. The dj is irrelevant soon they will be replaced with a drum machine.

The new cape fear d&b tune makes me cringe, if thats the direction main d&b is going then its not gonna last to much longer before garage & grime take over completly.

Most of the current mc's are shit, eksman, det , shabba, skibba.

Thank fuck Bassman is back.

PMSL laughing at skibba, shabba & a few others attempts at going mainstream with gay tracks. Keep it underground fools.

All my sets are now 90 - 2000 jungle, oldskool & early ratty style hardcore.

Anyway I digress I may of jumped the gun saying he plays shit as I havnt listened to any of his sets for a few years, something special may of happened lol.

Have you got a link to a good Fabio set from this year?

To Clarify.....I didn't intend to have people list the "Legendary" dj's, as that list sure would go on forever.....n we all pretty much know who the heavy hitters were back in the day.....

Simply......who were your individual "FAVES".....maybe 5 to 10 max.....
