I've seen a great video about a guy, who masters tracks before they get cut:

My advice is to not spend money on pressing a dubplate until you have a track that is worth pressing.....

Interface for what? Could you elaborate please bruv?
About the dubplate thing -
I believe in keeping vinyl alive too, but that has nothing whatsoever to do with the subject of cutting dubplates in 2007.
The pros don't often press dubplates to play at shows these days. The original pioneers used to have dubs pressed back in the early 90's at expense, but ONLY because mp3s weren't invented then and it was the only way to test pre-release tracks out in raves at the time.
What is the point in pressing plates nowadays? Not much really, its an expensive way to hear you track on vinyl.
I'd wait until you are signed to get your own promo vinyl pressed by the label. I know for a FACT that all the real professional jungle/d&b producers do that. If they want to test tunes out in the rave before a release, they just use a CD.
How do you know that the tune works on a big soundsystem until you have tested it out a few times? You have to tweak the track a number of times first before even considering releasing it, just to get the sound right. A duplate pressing is an option after that but not essential.
Spending a hundred bucks on a dubplate or two before you've done that is really not productive or efficient. It would be a waste of the cutter's time and yours. Even more so if the track is not up to scratch in the first place. Resist the temptation to run before walking.
Pressing substandard tunes just to show that you have a plate is daft. If you are really confident in your productions why don't you send your tracks to known labels and let them do the pressing once you are signed? It'll save you a lot of money on pressing the same tune 6 times just to get the sound right.
Sorry to sound a bit harsh here but you'll realise that I'm right in the long run. Trust me this is sound advice!!
One option for you if you don't want to take my advice -
if you have a shitload of cash to spare and are desperate to have a dubplate, you could always buy a Vestax cutting deck or find someone who owns one. It might save you money in the long run.
Then you'd be able to make plates that last almost as long as regular vinyl to feed your slightly premature "I own a dubplate" need..

About the usb audio interface -
What soundcard are you using? Hasn't it got any ins or outs? If you are mastering inside the computer then there shouldn't be any hiss. If you are using an external desk then I may have a solution.
The hiss could be something to do with interference on your wiring. In which case you can buy "balanced" audio cables. I have them and they work nicely.
You can get some from here: http://www.soundware.co.uk/sc/sections/Audio%20Cables

The hiss -
What instruments do you have hooked up to the comp? I think the hiss is probably coming from magnetic interference from your Radioshack adapters or cables between the instrument and computer. I honestly think you should spend some cash on a soundcard. It takes the load off your computer's processor (so you can use more vst plug-ins) and it will have some ins and outs and a midi connection.
If you don't want to spend a lot of money you can get a great soundcard by E-Mu or M-Audio for around $110 and there are others in that price range too. Next get some proper balanced cables to use between your instruments and soundcard.
The hiss should be completely gone by then.
A soundcard and cables are really worth the effort, there are loads of advantages to having them. You should also look into getting some decent studio monitors if you don't already have them. Soundcard and monitors are essential bits of kit.

I have an M-Audio Firewire Solo.

It works well tracking Vocals in Logic, but I often have to uninstall the drivers as they seem to goof up other things....
