In 2008 Chicagoans mourned the loss of Brian Blackeye, the city's first and primary hardcore-jungle MC. To initiate the preservation of his memory in 2009 and beyond, we present the final recording of the full C.H.A. lineup: JJ Jellybean, DJ Snuggles, and MC Blackeye. These previously unreleased tapes were submitted by Dubshack and are exclusive to GoldenEraJungle.com
Fifteen tracks of old-school flavored, amen-heavy ragga jungle... This CD is a compilation of the Archangel's vinyl and compilation releases, alongside two new, never before released exclusives.
This CD has been pressed in response to numerous requests for the Archangel to release his vinyl back catalog on a more listener-friendly format. This CD is perfect for CD DJ's as well as casual listeners that don't necessarily have a reason to buy 12" releases.
Each of these songs is a high bitrate version identical to the files sent off for vinyl pressing. These are NOT mp3's, but wave files straight out of the studio. The CD is NOT a CD-r, but a professionally printed disc, with full-color inserts and tracklistings.
These are being sold for the low price of $4.50 each, plus shipping ($4.50 for priority, and $2.50 for media mail).
To order a copy, just send an e-mail to [email protected] to reserve a copy. You'll get a reply with ordering instructions right away.
Be sure to order soon, as there were not many of these pressed. Only 100 discs are available, and they are already selling...
Also, as an added bonus, with the purchase of a disc, you will receive a link for an additional album of never before heard music from the Archangel. It's a zip fille of 320 kbps mp3's of cutting-edge minimal experimental noise, perfect for those days you feel like trying your patience with droning, dubbed-out and distorted psychedelia. Nothing on this album has ever been made available before this release.
