In 2008 Chicagoans mourned the loss of Brian Blackeye, the city's first and primary hardcore-jungle MC. To initiate the preservation of his memory in 2009 and beyond, we present the final recording of the full C.H.A. lineup: JJ Jellybean, DJ Snuggles, and MC Blackeye. These previously unreleased tapes were submitted by Dubshack and are exclusive to GoldenEraJungle.com
In my opinion, the only let down was the Rufige Cru remix of Mass Confusion which seemed out of place with the feel of the other 3 trax.
Apparantly, the original mix of Mass Confusion was released on a single sided promo only 12 - I've never heard it. If anyone's got a copy for sale, please get in touch.
...and let's not forget the square shaped 10" remix by DJ Hype. You walk in some place and it's DARK!
It still stands up as one of my all time favourites.
Would love to know what anyone else thought of this release.
