February 23rd:

Updates will resume in the near future.

January 1st:

In 2008 Chicagoans mourned the loss of Brian Blackeye, the city's first and primary hardcore-jungle MC. To initiate the preservation of his memory in 2009 and beyond, we present the final recording of the full C.H.A. lineup: JJ Jellybean, DJ Snuggles, and MC Blackeye. These previously unreleased tapes were submitted by Dubshack and are exclusive to GoldenEraJungle.com

Blackeye, this one's Y.O.U.

Sounds like D.R.S featuring Kenny Ken "Everyman" but it's a ragga tune from '94.

I think it's Errol Dunkley - can't remember the name of the tune that is sampled tho.

Oh, I think it's "A Little Way Different" by Errol Dunkley - the original sample.

Its not Everyman though.
Appreciate every response though lads....
I have the tune in a freestylers mix but it may be too big a mix to post on here and its more breaks than drum n bass

There were quite a few mixes of Everyman floating about... Is it possible that this is one of them?

The Kenny Ken track doesn't use the original ragga vocals. The vocals used for the Kenny Ken track are sung by DRS (not the Good Looking MC).

i'm pretty sure it isn't related to Kenny Ken's "Everyman" at all. I think I heard the track he's talking about and it's a really rudimentary amen-hardcore tune with the Dunkley vocals... maybe there's 20 hardcore versions though - who knows.

Lads, can't thank you enough....
But i am beginning to think that maybe it is Everyman - Kenny Ken & DRS
but that was released in 94. This tune was def 92 as it was caned by Bukem and the like at Equinox and Milwaukees. I stopped raving in 93 and it was before that!!
Unless Mr Bukem had some good contacts and got his tunes well before the rest.

Nice to get such a great response though gents.
