In 2008 Chicagoans mourned the loss of Brian Blackeye, the city's first and primary hardcore-jungle MC. To initiate the preservation of his memory in 2009 and beyond, we present the final recording of the full C.H.A. lineup: JJ Jellybean, DJ Snuggles, and MC Blackeye. These previously unreleased tapes were submitted by Dubshack and are exclusive to GoldenEraJungle.com
i'll send you some clips if you want - they're good, but not my favorite out of the "jungle taking the world by storm" camp
Ganja Plant is off the wall. the intro is flat-out the shit. the amens are so thick and beefy - but they flow like butter. i only wish the first section after the drop didn't roll the way it does. this is on amen brother 2 by 3D (horrible sound quality)
the flip of that is I the Conqueror... again super super thick and beefy. a badass steppin' tune. this is on RAW natual born junglists (i think, check the list on the site)
i don't have the full slam! release of ganja plant - i have it on the F2F fever in the jungle 2 - just need to really crank it up and adjust your hi's and lows. i have both fever in the jungle lps on CD and vinyl - if you want to check the CDs.
the other dread & baldhead release is also on Slam!, but not on any fever in the jungle
wicked piece a tune w/ 24/7
real heavy amen mash up - not as good as it is rare in my opinion.

Heh, my problem is picking out a release off those labels that I don't like. Maybe the Lionist record on Fist 2 Fist as my least liked, which is odd cause the Lionist record on Slam! is one of my faves. :/

right? the green fist 2 fist? crying / if a sound test
that is my least favorite for sure
ruffcut / it's a shame are cool tunes
Ruffcut / It's a shame are definitely dope tunes.
I have been trying to get my hands on a copy of Crying / If a Sound Test for a lil while now. I love that Brian & Tony Gold sample in "If a Sound Test."
@ Hook..... Email me with them clips. I definitely want to hear them. Thanks!
So what is everyone's favorite tunes from the "Jungle Taking The World By Storm" group of labels (Fist 2 Fist; Slam!; Inner City Dance; No Sell Out; Drum & Bass; Ruff 'n Tuff)
