In 2008 Chicagoans mourned the loss of Brian Blackeye, the city's first and primary hardcore-jungle MC. To initiate the preservation of his memory in 2009 and beyond, we present the final recording of the full C.H.A. lineup: JJ Jellybean, DJ Snuggles, and MC Blackeye. These previously unreleased tapes were submitted by Dubshack and are exclusive to GoldenEraJungle.com
I have got sh*tloads of Roast/Fever sets from 93 onwards... and they can easily be found on here and several other sites but NO WHERE can I find anything pre 93.
ROAST started in 1991 at Turnmills and then went to Linford Studios during 1992 I think. Jungle Fever was also about then, and parties were put on by Ibiza Records also. I am sick of the same old ragga jungle/darkside tunes played out in all the sets I have... what about the Lennie De Ice style tunes played 1990 - 1992???
CAN ANYONE HELP? DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY OF THESE SETS??
Yeh I be interested to hear any earlier sets, although I'm lacking 1993 sets(what ones do you have DMD205)
There is a tune on Roast Chapter 3 1994 on Brockies tape where a DJ called Rob Foster before Brockie plays a tune with these vocals: "enuff bwoy chat badness but they r only fools" "your bad man, gunman" "kill ye anytime" it sounds lennie de ice stylee basslines. Do you know what tune this is called or who by?
