In 2008 Chicagoans mourned the loss of Brian Blackeye, the city's first and primary hardcore-jungle MC. To initiate the preservation of his memory in 2009 and beyond, we present the final recording of the full C.H.A. lineup: JJ Jellybean, DJ Snuggles, and MC Blackeye. These previously unreleased tapes were submitted by Dubshack and are exclusive to GoldenEraJungle.com
Normaly I am a jungle/drum & bass Dj (Dj Redrum) since 1994/95. But in the Beginning of 2006 i was also gone into this dubstep/grime thing and im going crazy for this music. At last I can say it changes my life, because its the same feeling like the early 90`s i was gone into jungle. I chosed the name "Dj Mowgly", because it shows that i was always a 100% junglist in the past and i will always keep this junglist in me and and that i miss the good times of this music.. Sadly D&B/jungle is not the same thing it was... its not more "real breakbeats", its not more the same feeling, mostly tunes these days are too straight and sounds like Techno! So i thank all artists/Djs and supporters for dubsteo/grime out there (especially in the uk)!!
I hope you like my mix and can feel my love for this music! Sorry for my bad english! I would appreciate your feedback!!
just found it on barefiles and i though that it would be interesting here. i am a huge jungle fan but i also like many other styles including dubstep, so this is not jungle vs. dubstep thread
