In 2008 Chicagoans mourned the loss of Brian Blackeye, the city's first and primary hardcore-jungle MC. To initiate the preservation of his memory in 2009 and beyond, we present the final recording of the full C.H.A. lineup: JJ Jellybean, DJ Snuggles, and MC Blackeye. These previously unreleased tapes were submitted by Dubshack and are exclusive to GoldenEraJungle.com
I'm really looking for an old mix (that I have somewhere on cassette in Australia!) by Grooverider and I believe the MC is Conrad. I bought it in '96 and it's a live mix (possibly dreamscape?). I don't know the track names, but here are a few vocal lines:
"Take Me Up", "Sweet Memories", Takin' me Hiiiigheeeerr ooooh", "m-m-m-m-most uplifting", "I love the way you hoold me", etc..
Conrad's rhymes on it are AWESOME!! ("this beat here is qualified to make you slip and make you slide".."we're finally ready to rumble, we've gone deep down in the jungle". PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME!!
