In 2008 Chicagoans mourned the loss of Brian Blackeye, the city's first and primary hardcore-jungle MC. To initiate the preservation of his memory in 2009 and beyond, we present the final recording of the full C.H.A. lineup: JJ Jellybean, DJ Snuggles, and MC Blackeye. These previously unreleased tapes were submitted by Dubshack and are exclusive to GoldenEraJungle.com
I bought a Grooverider tape in Sydney in approx 1995. The cover was a purple colourful electronic motif with the word "Autumn" on it. It was a live set with MC Conrad, maybe recorded at a Dreamscape party.
Some of the rhymes on it were: "Now we're finally ready to rumble, (something) deep down in the jungle", "This beat, it makes your mind hype, better hold on tight, cause this ain't no test site", "This beat here is qualified to make you slip and make you slide..." etc.
