Somebody should get a copy of "So Damn Tuff" on here, as that's probably the only other 3D tape that got as much play as "Urban Jungle". Thanks for keeping the Midwest on FIRE for so long Dave!!  |

Dubshack here! New to the site and will be helping these guys fill in the blanks from the Dubshack library. I think we have So Damn Tuff. If we do we'll sort it out so it's available.
3D is one of the hardest DJ's of the early era. He was punishing at my events...pictured above (I'll find out the exact event and then post it here.) What I liked best about Dave was his relentless style. He would drop the most F'd up Amen and let it roll out for like 5 minutes. He pummeled the crowd. The chewn would finally end and then he'd drop a harder amen that went on for another 5 minutes. The crowd was spent when he was done. On occasion I would ask if he could give the crowd a rest. He just laughed! |
