I was at this party. The vibe was incrediable. For one brief night Chicago's drum and bass scene was equal to what was going on up in Toronto. Its a damn shame nobody in Chicago was ever able to put together another party like this one.: |

^^^no way.. well.. big up ya chest for having a great night.. Toronto scene aint the same anymore... anti-wharehouse rave by-law, yadaydady.. makes it almost impossible to throw a jam at Exhibition place anymore. for every 100 people u need 1 paid officer. and they make $60+hr.

Fuck yea, those Psychosis parties were tight......along with almost all of the other DBN events.....
Sux that I don't remember many specific's about that or most of the other events I attended in those days.......paper on the tounge on a semi-daily basis pretty much turned them all into one big blur......good times though
93-96 went by waaaaay too fast....wish I could've slowed down time to n-joi the ride a bit more...... |

didn't catch the original psychosis events (before my prime) but i did catch psychosis 4 at the dolton in 98. shame they shut down the jungle room on account of someone being naked.....that show had its own great sets though..

Gawd, it is crazy how music triggers memory.....listening to so many of the sets on here is like a virtual time machine, bringing back ton's of feelings n memories I had forgotten......
I now remember that night......I wanted to get up on stage n knock GQ the fuck out......was a torturous hour for me...
I freakn hate 99% of jungle mc's.... guarenteed to ruin a good set for me......Does anyone have a Trace set where there isn't someone shouting over his shit!?!?!....same goes for Andy C

hell yeah psychosis 3 was the shit. Ron and Trace tore the fucking place to shreds...and then hearing GQ go off on that spiral tribe spin off (can't remember their name) because they were starting beats before the drum and bass sets were up...classic. Morgan Market was a happin spot for some of the best Ripe parties. |
