On my first couple visits to rockin T.O. , I remember goin to Turbo on (damn) Adelaide/King(?) .....this was back in 00 and 01....that place still running and if so how are the fridays now?

Did you go to see Darren J, Mickey Finn w/ Skibba & Mampi Swift in 2001. I got the set on my comp. if you want it.
Place changed a couple hands after that. Went to Sound Emporium and now its called BOA. Most after-hours house cuz BOa is mainly a house/breaks entertainment company, but jungle is stll thrown there from time to time.
Actaully, the most recent hot-spot was System Soundbar but the owners sold the venue to some corporation so they can convert it into a Top-40 club .. for 2004-the thend of 2005. This was the place for jungle. There are some pics of them at the bottom of this post.

yeah, a copy of that mix would be sweet!!
unfortunately, i didn't get to catch them in 01. I did get to see that extended darren jay set @ the docks in 00. coming from the land of house, nothing could prepare me for a main room of DnB and a crowd of that magnitude. DAMN that was sweet!!
when i went in '01 they were supposed to have a show in a water park or somethin? then it got cancelled and my weekend was kinda screwed.....but at the last second i walked in a bar by chance on king st (i think) where kenny ken was playin in the basement! ended up bein a great night! big ups for the upcomin info!

hmmm........let me dig some old flyers i might have saved from around then, and see if any of these places are still around.....always a good time breakin out the memory box and seeing what was what and when.....lol
