My buddy told me about this horrible production crew (EP) in South Florida that throws all ages, candy raver, sh*t trance music parties ...and there are a bunch of threads on FloridaDNB.com hating on these idiots. This is hilarious if you get a chance check out this link:

Damn! I spent way too long scrolling that board. At first I could not stop looking at those despicable posts. The shock value was something on the order of a Jerry Springer episode, but one thing I have noticed is that people who are more than casual viewers of the Springer show are a little fucked up too. I mean the people in that forum were so obsessed and ruthless with those poor, awkward kiddy ravers that it was kind of sad. They separated themselves out as elitists in the "scene", like they never had an "E" moment. Well, anyway, I saw a picture posted of there "DnB" crew, and they were not the picture of "cool" with their Ecko shirts and flattops. HMMM. If they would have laughed at themselve a little they would have seemed a lot cooler. This is a long post, but I'm just venting because so many DnB elitists are too self important. I love the music to the maximum, and I been around the block. Know all the little lingo and all the tunes; old and new, but shit man, That don't define me. I'm many different things to different people. In my opinion these elitists are as one dimensional as the freshman they're harrassing. I don't know why these people pissed me off so bad. Must have been that bully thing. Anyway,,, Rave On. Thanks for reading my vent. Peace. |

unfortunately, I couldn't check out the link to the pics, n most of the pics posted weren't viewable......although there were a few where people looked half dead!
But yea....elitist mo fo's suck....regardless of the scene.
Fucking typical syndrome of Message Boards unfortunately....
Reminds me of a particular MW Ravers board around here....

yeah, I'll third that, when I scrolled down at the posts on here I was just glad you peeps aren't like that.
some of those guys seem to hate the those 'candy ravers' with a conservative, almost religious zeal ,as though they see d&b as some kind of 'straight edge scene' alternative or su'in'.
I mean that whole glowstick UV vibe aint my thing, nor is that music, but theres no need for things to get THAT regimented, man. |

Check out the goth eyeshadow and the leprichaun hat. I also like the pink fishnet stockings over the wrists. Trendy! We have that sort of "raver" in the UK too, only WORSE. We call them GATECRASHER KIDS. Because they all go to an event called Gatecrasher which is the ultimate in cheese. The freaks try to dress like manga characters to be "outrageous" on their first pill blowing their student loans. Imagine peeps like that rolling into DESERT STORM back in the day! They would've had their pixie hats shoved up their asses and the black rings around their eyes would've been made by several left hooks from every badboy skankin out the dance.... |
