Musicv2.com - 2007 Drum n' Bass Championships!
If you're a Drum n' Bass dj and want your chance at winning the $500 grand prize, please read on.
The details regarding the Musicv2.com 2007 Drum n' Bass Championship are below:
1.) All submissions must be received by December 14th, 2007. In order to submit your mix you must have it uploaded to the Musicv2.com web site before that date.
Once uploaded, please send an email to [email protected] with the subject "DnB Championship Submission", and the following information:
a.) Mix Title
b.) Your Musicv2.com URL
c.) Mix Length
d.) Contact Email Address
e.) City, State/Provence, Country
2.) Only one submission per registered member.
3.) All entries must be between 30 and 45 minutes long. Any entries that are shorter or longer will be disqualified.
4.) We must receive a minimum of 24 entries for the contest to move forward.
5.) The maximum number of submissions we will be accepting is 40. Mixes will be logged in the order in which they are received so that means get your submission in sooner rather than later.
Once all submissions are received, we will randomly choose the pairs which will make up the first round.
Public voting using the Musicv2.com battle system will begin on December 28th, 2007.
This is a single elimination tournament with the winner taking all.
Each additional round will take place two weeks after the end of the previous round until there is a single winner.
Winners of each round will have one week to create, upload and submit a new mix for the next round if they choose to do so. Although it is not required, keeping it fresh may help your chances of moving forward.
That's pretty much it. You'll battle it out, one person will end up winning $500 and everyone involved will end up with a ton of extra exposure regardless of whether they win or not.
