.....it stemed from a conversation we had a few weeks back about the over-abundance of fake ass wannabe pimp "dj's"....if you can call them that........people who have self-typed bios that pump them up like they are budding superstars, n 800 pictures of themselves djing taken by their friends................shit's fucking sickening......
I guess people giving teh "Rock On" gesture is a dead give away of a dj starved for attention =)

Hahaha yeah I know what you mean actually, we get a similar sort of "DJ" here too. Quite often at house parties rather than in clubs. They usually play obnoxious trendy UK house and arrive in dad's Mercedes. And they ALWAYS gesticulate while mixing, even the slightest twist of an EQ and they are making it look super special, ie touching the nob and then throwing their hand back into the air behind them dramatically. Kinda hard to explain but you might know what I mean, lol.
Their favourite catch phrase is saying "totally" in a posh English accent
It sounds more like "turdley" and its damn annoying.
If I come across these chumps I usually try to break out the jungle after them, or at least play it on a stereo in the kitchen so loud that it swamps their fashionable beats

....n yea, they typically spin Hardstyle/(fake) Hardhouse garbage n scratch a lot..........though over here they usually spin at Trendy Clubs for fags n college students in buttondown shirts..........
