Just keep making tunes man! All I can say is what the overall quality of your production isn't very high at the moment (IMHO) . It's not that you are doing something wrong. Just get "that feel of a track" by listening to a good music. Check out the various old-school mixes from here!

Track 1 -
Remove the pop from that zylophone style sound.
Don't compress the drums as much.
The track drops in at completely the wrong time! That would be a nightmare for a DJ to mix. Try to get the bars correct
Track 2 -
better, but a bit unoriginal, its full of stereotype cheesy samples. Really dislike that sample "This could turn a hare krishna into a badboy". Also the "are you a badman?" sample and the other main rasta vocal. Its played out at hell, don't go down that route just for the sake of it.
By far not the worst 'jungle' I've heard but not that great to be fair. You're on the right tracks though, you seem to have a reasonable ear for EQing etc. Keep going, and as Pon said, it's VERY important to listen to signed music by professionals.
I'd also change this -

It looks really cheesy. Like a logo you'd see on the back of a pair of Mr Spliffy jeans or something, lol. Or in someones record box next to a load of happy hardcore, LOL!
Sort it aaaht son, this is a serious music genre

Heres a tip -
Its better to have a few really good tracks than loads and loads of mediocre ones.
Its more important to have a couple of real scorchers rather than churning out loads of lame tunes for the sake of it.
