You should definitely make a few weekends of it and rip those to mp3, son!
Looks like it would be a serious task, but it's as close to 'insurance' as you can get without putting those in a fireproof safe somewhere....

THat really is nice. I had most of my mixtapes stolen. I was working on the road and I had rather large tackle box full of tapes w/ me. Got nabbed in the hotel parking lot. Vanished. smiley Actually. What do you have for good studio mixes 95-98? Seems like most of the live shit is killed by MC. I love the studio mixes.

most prized would be the Full Cycle Music Box launch party tapes - cos they are legend, the first One Nation i went to, and Jungle Fever return tape pack.

I always bought live sets cos i liked the vibe off the sets. Either to relive the night, or find out what i missed. I do agree tho, there are some shockin mcs around - forgetting what their job is (anyone that went that DnB Convention the other week and saw the guy in the 3rd room with Fresh...mercy).
Never really went in for studio sets cos I got records from that time so could make my own in my basement! And the freshest tunes were always dropped at the live dances, as is the nature of the music.

beats coming soon!
hold tight!

I thought I had quite a good selection of One Nation tape packs but JEESSSUUSSS!

Are all the tapes still in the packs? I bought most of mine when I was at school and most of the tapes went missing through the years, especially the good ones.
