2006 is going to be a massive year for Theory. Big thanks to everyone who came out for Dj Hype inside the Kool Haus! We're just getting started! We're going to make this year one of the best for Jungle Dnb!
THEORY UPDATE | 2006
On April 13th Theory and Rinse magazine return with some dark and dirty beatz featuring the dark master Dylan (Freak Recordings) and Hive (Violence). Locally we've got the might Illfingas and GridIrons EZ. P. This event will be taking place at the newly renovated Footwork nightclub.
Friday April 18th SLXN teams up with Movement and Liquid V for a night of Soulful Drum and bass with the dubplate don: Bryan G! Get ready for a night of liquid funk like you've never heard.
On May 5th we return for the Junglists and Junglettes with a clash of the titans! The one and only Nicky Blackmarket versus the mighty Mickey Finn. Locally Mystical Influence and Marcus Visionary. This event will be taking place inside the Orange Room.
(Theory please requests that you stay seated in an upright position for the next announcement. We will not be held liable for bloodclot heartattacks!)
On May 21st we take you back inside the Kool Haus for one of our largest productions to date! Get ready for the mighty return of the original nuttah Shy FX. Also featuring live performances by Top Cat and Tenor Fly! The Executioner ANDY C returns to rock the heavyweight Kool Haus soundsystem (which will be reinforced even more for this event!) alongside the one and only MC GQ! Topping things off we've got the one and only Bingo label boss DJ ZINC getting ready to blaze some serious fya! Representing locally will be our very own Digital Soundboy Marcus Visionary alongside Catchin Wrecks Dj Lush and Front Lefts Ragga master Dj Saigon. Hosted by Caddy Cad.
On June 16th SLXN returns with the long awaited premiere performance from Chase and Status. These boys have had an incredible year in 2005. Dropping massive hits on Dj Zincs Bingo lable as well as the massive 'Everyday' remix for Shy FX on Digital Soundboy you can guarantee you will get the full circumference of the jungle DnB sound. Accompanying Chase and Status will be Dj Crazes right hand man JuJu representing Phuturo recordings. Locally Frankie Gunns and Chase will be warming things up. Hosted by Marcus.
This is just a sneak peak into what we have planned for 2006. Get ready for our massive Carnival event, even more SLXN, Orange Room and Kool Haus events in the coming months.
Junglist Movement will also be returning with Rumble on Friay April 21st. Did someone say.. RAVE!?!
Big up to all of our Theory supporters and friends! Until next time!
