St Pauls Carnival in Bris - 96 i think
Bryan G b2b Krust - Dynamite, Hyper D, Bassman. In the middle of the street at night, boomin system, most live atmosphere ever, all my fav tunes = legend. roni b2b suv, donovan smith b2b die etc earlier in the day....blazing!

Best set for me had to be Drum Session 5 @ Metro in 99? Bailey threw down some awesome tunes that night, Storm mixed (tried anyway, she looked blown) some wicked beats. Snugs n Jellybean fired up the evening w/ a ole skool jungleness tag-team. Phantom ripped up the show and right before I walked in I munched a large cap n 2 stems of the best shroom I ever ate in my life. Spent the whole night slurpin beer and I swear my feet never hit the ground. It's amazing how much beer can be drank w/ the right combination.

Most of the shit back in the day was a blur to me, but a few nights that were memorable for me were
Jupiter 96': Dieselboy, 3d n Snuggles, n lots of quality sets of other styles....
Phore 96': 3d's set was off tha hook!
....i'm sure there are more, but for me, I was more enthralled by Acid, Detroit Techno, n Chicago House sets back then.....took me listening to Dieselboy Supreme 95' n Witness The Strength a few times to warm me up to Jungle.....
Even with those parties, at Phore the most memorable set was Justin Long's.....n with Jupiter, everything was tight.....Acid Craft, James Christian, Karma One, Effex, Drew Sutherland, Ms Hollie.....t'was a good one!

Helter Skelter NYE '97-'98 Dj Hype with Mc Juiceman & GQ. GQ got there late, did his speech thing and tore the place into pieces. i had it on tape....still looking for it...wont rest till I find it...my fav set EVER!!! |

I think I've got that set but I copied it onto Minidisc when I was clearing out my old tape collection. Unfortunately I got no way of transferring it onto a computer. |

That's a very tough question. Phantom 45 at into the darkness. (98?) Grooverider at yoshi & friends (01). There was a live pa at Flashback 2 (most recent, I think 02). Sander Kleinburg at Sonar. Remember the party at the halsted indoor mall? That shit was HOT. Most recently I would have to say at Ultra in miami I saw Cause4concern. That shit owned too. Ya know what this question is too hard to answer. BLASPHEMY.

Area 51 was a dope ass venue too!!!! That place was craaaaazy. At Rave in the Shell (2000) my friends will NEVER let me live this down. I got all f**ckerd up and laid on some couch. They said all the sudden *the scary ho* came & picked me up & carried me off. The next thing I know I come to it and I'm laying next to some ho that's just staring at me. What a crazy night. Memorable. lol.

ahh......the yoshi's world (2) at the halsted mall was the second one. the first yoshi's world (actually my first party ) was at a small warehouse on western ave. on the south side.....
Area 51! haha.....i remember my girlfriend's uncle had his wedding reception down the street from that place a couple years after the last time i went there........i was like "hmmm.....this looks familiar".....damn that place though.....someone dropped a lit cigarette on my fav ecko hoodie there......i almost got kicked out for nearly startin a brawl with this bitch's boyfriend whose girl i found out did it.....luckily i knew the chick throwin the show, so she got kicked out instead..... |

Hard to say which set was the absolute BEST above all. Definitely Christian Bruna at Camouflage, NYC. He's always killing it!!! BOH BOH BOH!!!!!!!!

Yellow Note around 2001
also lotsa hot mixes when Tuffist & Human were together, mainly Tuffist's end of it though, & lots of DJ Epic on the Urban Jungle Show when it was still on the air here in NYC.
