is there a way to edit out an mc out of a mix?? i use audacity and i dont see any options on there. thanks

I was just talkin about this in another thread!
And yeah, there is no way with current technology unfortunately.
Nothing worse than some jibber jabber ruining an otherwise good set.

However...I noticed one mix in the archive that you can do this with. I believe it was Dj Trace Live @ Psychosis '95 (Chicago). Although I actually dig the mc's on this one. But that mix has the music in one channel and the mc in the other. Just delete the channel with the mc and copy/paste in the music in its place.....
