I'm trying to figure out who did an old amen/hardstep/jump up tune with James Brown sample. It sounds like Hype possibly even Aphrodite, but I am probally wrong. I have the track on tape from a mix around 96'. the song starts off with the James Brown Sample 1...2....3, hit me! It then goes into the sample: "What you Gonna Play now....Well Whats Ever I Play Has Got To Be Funky." I believe the flip of the record might be a more mellower version of that tune. Anybody gots a clue bout this one. Other headz I ask down here shrug and are left clueless ( sadly not that much classic support down in ther MIA). aNY TAKERS ON THIS ONE?
