I put together this 25 minute compilation of Danny The Wildchild's mixtape scratch routines. It's compiled from all of his tapes that we have hosted in the archive.

There have been several debates in the forum about the best scratching jungle DJ. I'm not sure who it is, but surely Danny's near the top. Representing Chicago . . .

Pretty good, better than Hype for sure. Danny uses a different array of scratch techniques to Hype who only uses transforms. Danny seems to be throwing in chirps, flares, orbits, crabs and chops quite well.

As for scratch DJs over d&b, Craze wins hands down I think.

I like the way you put this montage together gej, good work smiley

Gonna have to check this... I remember him bein pretty good. Never really liked Hype's style. I like a little more creativeness when it comes to the sklatch. Always been a big Q-Bert fan. Honestly, it's the one thing I'd like to hear/see more of these days. The art kinda faded away...

Hahaha! "There's so much bass, the needles are jumping"

Never seen him scratch over d&b to be honest. Of course, Q is the king of scratching hands down, good to see him do it over d&b. Shame it was in a club though, if he did a mixtape that would win this contest! smiley
