checked the kiss fm preserve site for part 2 of this, and they got nothin. PLEASE, someone has to have heard of someone who has this or something. anyone? Point me in the right direction?

1) interview with alec empire
2) dj-set by carl crack
3) dj-set by alec empire
4) dj-set by someone else i forgot at the moment
havent check the upload above but i guess it contains the first two parts. the whole thing was released on a tape on midi war back in the days:

I got Shizuo's first tape off Midi War "Disko Punk", all his early versions of some of the tunes that came on Shizuo vs. Shizor (better versions IMHO), plus sum unreleased bits...... |

No. At the end of the interview Carl says that he is doing djing now (followed by the oldskool jungle set). Alec is spinning the ruffer stuff on the b-side then (lot's early DHR releases incl.).
if you guys are at slsk you can dl the complete tape except part 4 from me. also have a bunch of other midi war tapes in share (inclusive the shizuo - disco punk). username: hetzer

I have listened to it again and you probably mean the radio moderator at minute 17:41 where he says "alec empire and mc carl crack in the mix"!?
Well as he says it's not Alec alone but together with Carl. And still i'm pretty sure that Carl is starting the set. It's just his typical mixing-style and selection of records he used in these days (lot's ragga jungle stuff). He did similar style and records in this mixtape which is from the same time for example:

So I guess either they just played back2back or they changed half the way (for exampe as the moderator said this sentence). But for sure it's not Alec alone.

hmmm i really dont know whats wrong to be honest i downloaded it myself and it doesnt have any problems on it i just finished the interview and part 2 without any problems
normally if it interups i need to start again but i am 100% sure it wasnt the case now
can u tell me what is the problem exactly ?? |
